Keith D Harwell
Born and raised in Pasco, Washington, I lived here for 27 years until I moved to the oil fields in Sidney, Montana and Willingston, North Dakota. There I was able to learn about the oil fields and got introduce to the logistics of the trucking world. Working for a Frac Sand company, I started working hand and hand with the dispatchers to coordinate loads according to the oil rig needs.
When the oil fields crashed in 2018, I moved back to Washington state to leverage many years of dispatching experience. I was hired by Crest Logistics in Wallula, Washington where I officially started my logistics career. I was promoted to lead dispatcher within a short period of time when the company sold to Union Pacific Railroad. I managed customer logistics needs from the northern Idaho down to the California/Mexico border. I managed logistics for a variety of loads using truck and rail to deliver valueable cargo.
During the Covid-19 pandemic Union Pacific Cold Connect closed their doors due to business being unpredictable. During this time I leveraged my passion for logistics and customer service to launch Affordable Freight LLC to continue serving the pacific northwest with reliable freight transportation solutions.
